ロマネ・コンティとラ・ロマネの上に位置する1級畑。標高が高く、表土の薄い土壌から、極めて繊細なタッチのワインが生まれる。新鮮な赤い果実にバラのようなフローラルさ。味わいも直線的で心地よい酸味とミネラルが支配的。

The Vosne-Romanee Aux Reignots is a terrific wine - coming from a plot in the bottom of Aux Reignots - just above La Roman?e. In 2016 Charles continued the experiments with letting the top of the vines grow and weave them down ? just as Domaine Leroy does on most of the top end vineyards. This seem to have produced a brilliant wine also in 2016 - rivaling some of the best on the Reignots vineyard. The bouquet offer fresh and juicy red fruit - notes of red currant, vibrant pomegranate and raspberries spiced with cinnamon, violets and rose pethals. On the palate cool, rich and hedonistic with a very fine balance and acidity. Can it match the excellent 2015? - possible, as the detail and structure seems more defined and precise.
